We have been keeping busy!!  It's impossible to believe that we are in the home stretch of the school year. We still have lots of learning to do as we wrap up the next few weeks of school. Here's a peek at what we've been up to....
We are grateful to the PCC for funding our new Magna Tiles. They have been a BIG hit and have spurred some amazing imagination in our classroom!
We continue to explore letters in many fun ways. Here, students are searching for letters in their names. They used magnifying glasses to search a tray full of tiny alphabet pasta letters.

Students are also working on their counting and number recognition skills.

Have you heard your child trying to rhyme words? We've been working on it! It's a tricky concept, but it can be a lot of fun once the kids get hang of it!

Sometimes it's fun to just share some great moments of preschool...

We look forward to more fun in the weeks ahead!
Reminder: No School on Monday, May 28, 2018 for Memorial Day

A Visit from Dental Associates of Walpole

Miss Liz, a dental hygienist, visited us to teach us about taking care of our teeth. We learned about brushing and flossing and eating healthy foods. It was fun to practice our brushing technique with the BIG toothbrushes!

We also met "Charlie the Dog" and "Dr. Petrie" who taught us some of the things we may see and do when we visit the dentist and also some of the tools used to check our teeth.

We gave Charlie hugs and high fives to say "Thank you for the great lesson!"

We had a visit from two of Franklin's community helpers. Thank you Officer Manocchio and Officer Mucciarone for visiting our classroom and teaching us about safety.

We learned about calling 911 for emergencies and the importance of seatbelts and wearing helmets when riding bikes.

Everyone was excited to share ideas and ask questions.
The students were able to try on some of the police gear.

Thank you Franklin Police for keeping us safe!
